Maxwell Fog
I wanted to share my attempt at adding fog to a scene per Jason's post here: http://www.vizdepot.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5493
Attached are 3 jpg's, 1 is the image from maxwell. Another is the environmental settings I used and the last jpg diagrams the suggestion: "I will usually create a box that mimics the shape of my camera view to cut down on the calculations that MR needs to do."
Surpisingly the render didn't take too long, I got up to SL 10 in 15-20 minutes for a 2000 x 1000 image.

You must have a really good machine to post a SL 0f 10 in 15-20 mintues. This is great though. Thanks

My machine is in my signature, the one I used for the fog tests is the Duo. I should also note that I removed all of the glazing and complex geometry from the scene to keep it simple.

Sorry, 'MR' was for Maxwell Render, not Mental Ray... sorry for the confusion.
