Articles Architectural Landscape Solutions Review

One could suggest that to a carpenter, having a variety of tools means the job should be easier to complete on time.  The same could be argued for the visualization artist.  Their scope of tools manifests their ability to produce work quickly.  This is no better demonstrated than in the entourage the artist applies to convey realistic situations.

What is missing in the above statements?  Quality is what the artisan looks for in choosing their tools.  Whether it is the carpenter or the visualization artist, the value of good tools is undeniable.  When you can marry production with quality business will come to you.

Architectural Landscape Solutions is a new multi-volume product from Archifx 3D Studios which does just that.  This set includes an incredible array of both individual and pre-arranged entourage for post production use.  So whether you’re preparing an elevation study or adding landscaping elements in post production these products will help your renderings standout.

Each image in the set is provided in high-res so that detail is not lost.  With three formats provided, including .TIFF rgb images (with alpha channels), .JPEG rgb images, and .JPEG alpha maps and most images provided with and without mulch there is nothing left to chance. These tools provide ready to apply entourage in your scene without the hassle of additional Photoshop tricks.

Something unique about this set of images is that they do not appear to be overly regional.  Many of the products on the market become highly specific to locations based upon the landscape that grows there.  This set of images bridges that gap by providing several common plant types which I, personally have seen around the states.

The detail levels are excellent for high res renderings.  Most images exceed 2000px in both directions.  As shown below, the alpha cuts are sharp and cleanly anti-alias against contrasting backgrounds.  I did notice that the cuts are more refined on the smaller shrubs and flowers.  The larger landscape volumes had some minor areas where more attention could have made them.  These items are minor at best and really do not impede the quality when placed in a rendered environment.

Each of the 5 volumes includes a specific grouping.  There are three volumes of landscaping arrangements from small to large and colorful.   There is also a flowers and plants volume and a shrubs and bushes volume as well.  By visiting the site, an artist can purchase a specific volume tailored to there need.  Purchases happen right on the site and their friendly staff is more than happy to help you if you have any questions.

Whether you need a single bush or a variety of plants to bring life to your visualization, Archifx’s Architectural Landscape Solutions has what you need.  These volumes will provide a whole new level in your work by offering the ability for the end user to increase productivity and quality.  These products will be what you see in the high-end renderings as word spreads about this untapped resource.

The combined landscape files are a huge time saver for when the client doesn't have a landscape plan you have to follow.

For what its worth... I purchased their landscape library and absolutely love it. The quality is great, and the fact that they have both separate plants as well as large combined landscapes is ideal for quickly making your scene come to life.
